Co3O4/NMEG is grown on to NMEG (nitrogen modified microwave exfoliated graphite oxide). Electrochemical performance reveals that 70% Co3O4/NMEG composite exhibit improved cycling stability, excellent rate performance, and reduced irreversible capacity loss in the initial cycle compared to 70% Co3O4/tRG-O (thermal reduced graphene oxide) composite.
