We concern a facile approach to fabricate the novel graphene/Fe3O4/carbon microtube nanocomposites with the hierarchical sandwich-type architecture by the addition the trace amount of the carbon microtubes. This new microstructure effectively avoids the agglomeration of graphene and keeps the characteristic of stronger and broader absorption with lighter density. Results indicate that the graphene/Fe3O4/carbon microtube nanocomposites with the sandwich-type architecture have a strong RL (about −50dB) with a band of about 4GHz, highlighting its importance for microwave absorbing applications.Image 1

MnO2 nanosheets grown on the surface of highly conductive graphene resulted in a coupled composite bilayer electrode when coated onto a sulfur cathode. In this way, a high initial specific capacity of 1395mAhg−1 at a rate of 0.5 C, a Coulombic efficiency approaching 100 % and steady cyclic efficiency with a fade rate of 0.3% per cycle from 10 to 100 cycles has been achieved.

We reviews graphene from its fabrication to applications, particularly in graphene-based nanoelectronic biosensors owing to its atomic-scale two-dimensional planar structure having excellent electrical properties such as high carrier mobility and capacity, an ambipolar field-effect, and a highly tunable conductance. The observation of their electrical signal changes enables highly sensitive and selective recognition and real-time responses. Herein, we introduce state-of-the-art biosensor technologies based on various graphene types, especially the FET-type and electrochemical biosensors.

The laser processed graphene based micro-planar supercapacitor (LPG-MPS) component showed 3.75 and 8,785 times in volumetric energy density to the commercial surface mountable supercapacitor (SMS) and aluminum electrolyte capacitor (AEC) under 1,000mV s−1. It can be fabricated in a large scale and is readily applicable for wearable and flexible electronics energy management.
