Graphical abstractIn this work, uniform porous Cu2O nanospheres were facilely prepared using ionic liquid crystal [C16MMIm]Br) as a soft template. The Cu2O nanospheres were uniformly distributed on RGOs by ultrasonciation. The RGOs-Cu2O nanocomposites showed superior electrocatalytic activity toward glucose oxidation and were further applied for the construction of non-enzymatic glucose sensor with good performance.
