Graphene oxide-silver nanocomposite as SERS substrate for dye detection: Effects of silver loading amount and composite dosage Original Research Article Applied Surface Science, Available online 7 April 2015, Pages Guihong Ding, Shi Xie, Ying Liu, Li Wang, Fugang Xu
Graphical abstractThe effects of silver loading and composite dosage on SERS performance of GO-Ag composite as substrate for dye detection were investigated, which showed a rational, but not the higher the better, silver loading or composite dosage should be optimized to achieve strong SERS intensity with high signal to noise ratio, and thus low detection limit.

| Nanostructured ZnSe Anchored on Graphene Nanosheets with Superior Electrochemical Properties for Lithium ion Batteries Original Research Article Electrochimica Acta, Available online 6 April 2015, Pages Zhian Zhang, Yun Fu, Xing Yang, Yaohui Qu, Qiang Li
Graphical abstract

The ZnSe nanoparticles with irregular shapes are ∼40nm in size and anchored on graphene nanosheets. As the electrode material for lithium ion batteries, the ZnSe-rG Onanocomposites demonstrate high reversible capacity of 876mAhg−1 at 100mAg−1 after 50 cycles, outstanding cyclic performance and excellent rate capability (778mAhg−1 even after 400 cycles at 1000mAg−1 with nearly 100% coulombic efficiency). | |
