Microspheres of graphene oxide (GO) coupled to N-doped (BiO)2CO3 showed improved photocatalytic activity compared to pure BOC and N-BOC, which was due to the high electron-withdrawing ability and conductivity of GO and improved visible light harvesting ability of the 3D hierarchical architecture.
