Graphical abstractA graphene/CNT hybrid film is synthesized by direct thermal annealing of MWNTs on copper. MWNTs are partially etched in hydrogen under copper catalysis to form active carbon species which then nucleate and grow into graphene until the formation of a continuous G/CNT hybrid film.Image 1
