Graphical AbstractRuthenium oxide/graphene (RuO2/GR) hybrid materials for high performance electrochemical capacitor were prepared by a solution–phase assembly technology between RuO2and GR nanosheets at room temperature. RuO2utilization could be improved by adding GR in the hybrid electrodes, and a specific capacitance of 998 F g−1was obtained for RuO2in RuGR46 electrode with RuO2amount of 40 wt%, while 60 wt% of RuO2could be saved.
