Graphical abstract

A novel graphene-TiO2hybrid film was first facilely fabricated by combination of the layer-by-layer assembly and the surface sol–gel process. The hybrid film exhibited enhanced photoresponse performance and showed photoinduced superhydrophility under illumination. The transparent, superhydrophilic, and conductive graphene-TiO2hybrid film showed excellent photoresponse, antifogging, and antistatic behaviors, indicating that remarkable multiple functions had been achieved by a single film;namely, three birds with one stone!
