Graphical abstractTiO2doped with different ratios of graphene were prepared and applied in quantum dot-sensitized solar cells. It was found that the efficiency of quantum dot-sensitized solar cells was changed with the ratios of graphene composition. The CdS/CdSe quantum dot-sensitized solar cells incorporating 0.1wt % graphene in the TiO2photoanode demonstrated the most improvement in power conversion with an efficiency of 2.8%, which was 37% higher than that of pure TiO2.
