A ternary composite of graphene oxide/carbon dots/polypyrrole (GO/CDs/PPy) shows a superior performance to PPy, CDs/PPy and GO/PPy when it was used as hybrid electrodes for a supercapacitor. The CDs sandwiched between GO and PPy play a key role in promoting electron transportation of the ternary composite system as well as enhancement of the interfacial property among GO, CDs and PPy.Image 1
