We report a graphene/α-MnO2 nanowires composite with the uniform spatial distribution α-MnO2 nanowires on the three-dimensional macroporous graphene framework. The resultant 3D graphene/α-MnO2 nanowires composite had a unique architecture that efficiently utilize the pseudocapacitance of α-MnO2 nanowires and facilitate electron and ion transport, achieving high energy and power densities of supercapacitors.
