Graphical abstractSchematic illustration of simultaneously multiple mRNAs monitoring inside single living breast cancer cell based on GO nanocarrier. In particular, the fluorescent signals could be monitored when Mn-SOD probe (red) and β-actin probe (green) hybridizes with their mRNA targets inside the living cells. Random probe (orange) was regarded as control probe for the sensing strategy.Image 1

Graphical abstract

A sensitive ultraviolet photodetector (UVPD) was assembled by coating single-layer graphene on rutile titanium oxide cubic nanorods (TiO2NRs) array that was grown on fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) glass through a hydrothermal method. Optoelectronic analysis revealed that the heterojunction device was very sensitive to UV light illumination, with very good responsivity, fast response speed, high specific detectivity, and spectral selectivity. | Grafting of Size-Controlled Graphene Oxide Sheets onto Carbon Fiber for Reinforcement of Carbon Fiber/Epoxy Composite Interfacial Strength Original Research Article Composites Part A: Applied Science and Manufacturing, Available online 14 July 2017, Pages Caifeng Wang, Jun Li, Jiali Yu, Shaofan Sun, Xiaoyu Li, Fei Xie, Bo Jiang, Guangshun Wu, Fei Yu, Yudong Huang | N-doped Graphene/ZnFe2O4: A novel nanocomposite for intrinsic peroxidase based sensing of H2O2 Original Research Article Materials Research Bulletin, Available online 14 July 2017, Pages Navadeepthy D., Rebekah A., Viswanathan C., Ponpandian N.
Graphical abstract

N- Graphene/ZnFe2O4 nanocomposite has been used as a peroxidase mimic nanoparticle for the sensitive detection of H2O2 using a chromogenic substrate TMB. The limit of detection reaches upto 0.025mM and the redox catalytic activity is high compared to natural enzymes. | Ultra-Short Pulse Laser for Patterning High Quality Graphene Electrodes Original Research Article Materials Today: Proceedings, Volume 4, Issue 4, Part B, 2017, Pages 5074-5081 E.M.
