Graphical abstractPolyaniline-reduced graphene oxide-Co3O4(PANI-RGO-Co3O4) nanocomposites were firstly synthesized by a three-step method. The results demonstrate that the maximum reflection loss of PANI-RGO-Co3O4is −32.6dB at 6.3GHz with a thickness of 3mm and the absorption bandwidth with the reflection loss below −10dB is up to 13.5GHz (from 3.4 to 11.8GHz and from 12.9 to 18GHz) with a thickness in the range of 2–4mm, suggesting that the microwave absorption properties and the absorption bandwidth are greatly enhanced comparing with PANI-RGO.
