l-Cysteine-assisted hydrothermal synthesis of nickel disulfide/graphene composite with enhanced electrochemical performance for reversible lithium storage Original Research Article Journal of Power Sources, Volume 294, 30 October 2015, Pages 51-58 Qiannan Chen, Weixiang Chen, Jianbo Ye, Zhen Wang, Jim Yang Lee
Graphical abstractNiS2/graphene composite is synthesized by l-cysteine-assisted hydrothermal route in the presence of graphene oxide sheets. The sphere-like NiS2 particles are well dispersed on the surface of graphene sheets. The NiS2/graphene delivers a reversible capacity as high as 1200 mAh g−1 with the significantly enhanced rate capability. The capacity of 810 mAh g−1 at 500 mA g−1 can be preserved after 1000 cycles, indicating its excellent cyclic performance.
