Graphical abstract

A new SnS2-BiFeO3/reduced graphene oxide photocatalyst synthesized and its photocatalytic activity in the presence of visible-light was investigated. The optimized photocatalyst not only shows the highest photocatalytic performance for the degradation of MB and MO under visible light irradiation but also retains the stable photodegradation efficiency of >95% for at least 5 cycles.
