Graphical abstractA conclusive study on the cytotoxicity and bone regenerative capacity of low oxygen content graphene nanoparticles in vitro and in vivo in rat models. Here in we propose the LOG nanoparticles to potentiate and enhance the osteogenic differentiation capacity of the Adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells. Unicortical defect model in rats was used to study the regenerative effect in bone defect. The in vitro results were matching the in vivo results and supports the proposal of LOG nanoparticles potentiating effect.Image 1
