Graphical abstractA facile and effective synthetic method via a thermal-decomposition reduction in air has been employed to synthesize the Li4Ti5O12(LTO)/Graphene(RGO) nanocomposites as a promising anode material for high performance lithium-ion batteries. The LTO/RGO nanocomposites exhibit higher capacities and better cycling performances than the pure spinel LTO.
